3. Fires of Bangkok (NOV/DEC 2009), 30 songs in 30 days
Fires of Bangkok is the nom d’musik of a friend who wants to remain vaguely anonymous. He set his sights on 30 songs in 30 days, but sadly fell victim to the dreaded writer’s block 19 songs into it. I think it was bold of him to attempt the project over the holidays in the first place, and may have been derailed by the festivities! His 19 songs are ridiculously good and well-produced – I wish he’d been able to do 11 more!

CJ (that’s me!) is the creator of the site/project and was the first one to complete it. His project ran from Aug 2 – 31, 2009 and consisted of 30 songs. He is also the singer/guitarist for A Fight to the Death.
